Oh yes, the Kingfishers song/movie clip. It's a clip made for this song, Kingfishers, which I am not even sure is right to translate as Kingfishers, because the song itself has nothing to do with the birds (at least according the words by the song creator himself). But you know, I am a zoologist (with birds as main subject of research), and also a furry/anthro/animal artist, which kind of destined the way the song clip would look like. I'll try to explain what the song AND the movie is about, together with translating the song lyrics, so you can understand it a little bit more (I'll paste this to the page with the clip as well for future reference :)):

The movie clip goes with the lyrics quite well: Kingfishers meet the being, represented here by the stork. The stork gets hit by a car, the car has no driver, as it's a character itself (call it an anthro car, or the Daemon Babaj), and before the bird got killed, it tried to pickup a wrapping of an ice cream called "Ledňáček". Actually, kingfisher in Czech is named exactly like the icecream. Both words have base in "ice", and the word "ledňáček" in exact translation would be something like an "ice creature".

And the dog with "X"es as eyes is a dead dog, which you (and probably even most Czech people unless they are big fans of the music group) can't understand, comes from a very different song by the same artist. And that's it :)

A "scam"? LOL. Actually, I AM a scientist, and I learn a lot about environmental changes at school. I wouldn't call this a scam, although I am sure that it's not as hot as some people say. I know that there were many ice ages during history of the Earth, and I know that eventually there will be more because that's just how the clima works. In my oponion, global warming SHOULD be a problem for us, because it could cause the climate changes much sooner, which is something that we are afraid of. I think that I don't want to talk into detail here in my guestbook, but whoever would like to discuss this, or other scientifical/philosophical themes, you are welcome to e-mail or IM me.

I just personally think that there are more dangerous things awaiting mankind in the future, like a total collapse of civilisation due to fragility and cohesion of economy. But again, this is a theme for hours-long conversation, not for GuestBook entries X-D

I saw Steamboy, too, but didn't like it very much. Some of the Ghibli movies I like the MOST are Mononoke Hime, The Cat Returns, Spirited Away (all three were even released here in the Czech Republic! :-D), and then Laputa: The Castle in The Sky, Pom Poko, Grave of the Fireflies, Whisper of the Heart and especially (!!!) Panda Kopanda! Yes, these are all good movies.

And I come from the Czech Republic, where I live. I've never been to USA :-/

oh, im drawing a chibi picture of my character "Kitsune" and you w/ wings. is it okay if i do the same as you did with the facial expressions and the "text versions" next to them? well, thanks! but you dont necessarilly have to see any episodes to have motivation. i didnt get into pokemon from the TV serires, but with the cards (im a total pokemon fanatic- you\\\'d think a 15 year old girl would be more interested in boys, Ambercrombie, and hangin at the mall.....america....^^; )

id have to say that Naruto is THE BEST ninja anime. no ?\\\'s asked! :) but when ever im introduced to a new anime and i like it, i get right into it and practice drawing the characters. i luv trying new things with new outlets! im sure if you watched a few episodes on Youtube or read a manga volume, you would LUV it! its very interesting and heartwarming! (and pure japanese!!) <3

i have loved pokemon ever since i was five (ten years ago) and still like it. the tv series has gotten worse, but the cards and collectables are still good! i even have an old limited edition pikachu doll! they dont sell those in stores in America anymore.

Have you ever heard of the anime \\\"Cyborg 009\\\" ? it was AWESOME when the series came out in the U.S. in 2001. thay only played it for one year though... >_< oh well. i still watch some vids on youtube. check it out some time! its about nine half cyborgs, half humans that have to stop the Black Ghost (bad guy) from starting another world war. its very KEWL! ................. ^^; i know,...im an anime freak! ^_^ <3

I myself got into Pokémon through the series, but I seriously started to love Pokémon just when I started playing the game. Later on, I even started to play the trading cards, but nowadays, I am only collecting them (I have a BIG collection of card painted by Mitsuhiro Arita - my favorite artist! :)), I don't watch the TVshow anymore (they stopped playing the show on television somewhere after Johto series, and I don't like it so much to download it from the web).

Today I play mostly the NDS Pokémon games (I finished Pokédex in Diamond and I started playing Pearl), I have about 40 Pokémon at level 100 and I train more. And you tell me something about age, I am 23 ^^;;;

I am not such Anime freak, as I already said, I don't have much time for watching 1000+ episodes long tv shows X-D But recently I got Silver Fang (Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin), very nice Anime about dogs (and only... 30? episodes) :) So that was something for me. The longest Anime I've seen was Hikaru no Go (and it was worth it!) and Digimon Tamers (my favorite Digimon series, but I saw it on German TV, understanding only "Das ist ein Digimon" X-D). But I am a collector of animated movies (not TV shows, there are too many X-D) including Anime, so if there is an Anime movie worth watching and I didn't see it (for example I saw all Ghiblis), you could maybe recommend some :) Oh and one more thing - don't tell me that I should see something on YouTube, I strongly dislike the website ;p

^_^ well, most people dont really keep track of the Naruto episodes, and it is almost endless! O.o ^^; thats what makes it so interesting! most read the manga which is much more interesting and the fans usually cont follow the storyline when talking about it: they focus on the characters and their pasts {which isnt endless, thank goodness!} the anime is all humans though, but many fanart portays them as animals!!! ^w^ yay! heres a list of characters and their "spirit" animal if you get any ideas about drawing them (check for references first on what they look like)

your chinese crested is sooo cute! i luv them, and my mom's best friend has a TON of them! you have the fuzzy kind, but im used to seeing the poodle-looking ones with almost no hair. they are very affectionate and smart! do you take yours to dog shows? i can draw animals quite well too! almost any is good for me, but i absoluty cannot draw people *grr* ;) my fav. animal are foxes, wolves and dragons. if your familier with the Naruto anime, could you please draw some chibis for your chibi section? im sure all the naruto fans would LUV it! ps. i like how you handled that Rebecca n00b. some people are just so arrogant and have no respect for others, but you were kind and used kind words as an alternative to cussing at her back. just as God says, treat people the way you want to be treated, not how they treat you. ^^ <3 my sincerest gratitude for such a talented artist!

Thank you very much for liking my art and my website :) I've heard about Naruto, but I've never seen even a single episode, because, as far as I know, it has MANY episodes, right? I usually watch only Anime that HAS end (the less number of episodes the better XD), because I have to download all Anime from web (there is no Anime on television). And also, it's quite time consuming... so I better play some nice game (like Pokémon! ^^), then watching a never ending Anime :) But these are just my preferences, I am sure it must be nice Anime, seeing all those fans around :-D

Animated gifs are pictures just like any other. I personally don't think that people will hate you for stealing static pictures while love you for stealing animated ones...

Besides, if there is a picture from an unknown author, it doesn't give you the right to use it on a website. It may be just the case that somebody has stolen the picture, and now you found it somewhere else than on the source website, and you are using it without the knowledge of the author. That's WRONG.

And last thing to say, please, behave. I don't think that I ever said something insulting (which I can't say about you), all I wanted was to help.
